I graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO with a degree in Finance & Marketing. After working some jobs that made me question my career path and my own sanity, I decided it was time for a change. I attended the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and told myself I would move anywhere to get my start in the radio business after I graduated. Well, anywhere turned out to be the tiny town of Winner, SD. I worked there for 2 years as the Sports Director and on air DJ. It was a good learning experience as I got to call high school play-by-play, interview coaches, produce commercials, and more than anything just get comfortable behind a mic. In summer of 2010, I took a job in Fort Dodge, IA as a Sports/News Director. I continued with play-by-play responsibilities for high school basketball, football, baseball, and softball. As the News Director I covered the state & local news for a 7 station cluster. It was another good learning experience for me which helped me land my current position here at KRAE/KYOY. I will be hosting a sports talk show from 6-8AM on KRAE, calling play-by-play for the local high schools, and helping out on KYOY as needed. When I'm not at work, I enjoy golfing, tossing the frisbee with my dog Jada, and hanging out with my friends.
